I love your City Lights corespun. I plan to learn to spin (using a drop spindle - not investing in a wheel YET!). Corespun is such a beautiful technique.
I also adore your Willow Loop Scarf - so versatile, and the colors are gorgeous!

I hate moving. The concept can be exciting, but the packing (and subsequent unpacking) is such a pain.
I use moves as my time for purging.
This is a great time to get rid of the stuff you never wear/use/fit.
Donations to women's shelters, drop offs at Value Village, and letting friends "shop" are all great ways to get rid of the excess baggage.

hugs & best wishes for a happy move!

Moving tip: Keep essentials handy (ex: toilet paper) so you are not digging through boxes to find them.
Label all of your boxes.... I thought on my last move that I would remember what was in each box if I put the room name on it. LOL Nothing like opening 20 boxes labeled kitchen just to find the dishsoap!

My favourite is the winter berry slippers. My feet are ALWAYS cold, so I love slippers!

I LOVE the mustard fingerless gloves with thumb sleeves... the colour is so gorgeous and they look really cozy.

moving tip.

If you're having people help you tote boxes into the new house, hang up signs in the new house directing people to each room. And of course write the room visibly on the box. That way they won't have to ask you for each box where you want it.

Love anything to wear around my neck and keep me cozy. Your shop has great scarves and cowls that would do the trick!

I love your plum wine triangle scarf - it is so dramatic, which is why I love it!

Also a moving tip: even though it's expensive, get a cleaning company to deal with your old place. It is such a relief not to have to deal with the cleaning! Maybe you could call in a favour to get your cleaning done by a friend as well, but we hired cleaners when we moved this summer and it was just such a relaxing thing to know that after we were moved in, we were DONE!

My moving tip is to get rid of anything you don't love. If you haven't worn it, used it or don't have a really good reason for it to take up space...then GET RID OF IT!

oh.... I love all your creations... but I've been eying your yarn for FAR too long :)

Moving Tip:

We just moved in August... don't just unload the truck into the garage!!! We're still trying to dig it out of there... Label with the rooms (and what's in there), and put them in the actual rooms!!! :) That was our plan, but I ended up on the sending end, and DH was on the receiving end... and he just told people to put it in the garage! GRRR. And he wonders why he can't access his tools yet ;).

My absolute fave!! It looks so soft, like you could just curl up into it and fall asleep!

My two favourites are "Pearls. Naturally white, undyed, handspun merino art yarn" (it looks so nice to knit with) and the "charcoal fingerless gloves" (love the colour).

The best moving tip - get rid of (throw out, give away, donate, sell) all non-essentials! We moved two and a half years ago, and just gave away some things we haven't looked at since we moved. Wish we'd gotten rid of them before packing them, unpacking them, and letting them sit on a shelf for two years...

LOVE the afternoon tea yarn and the raspberry sorbet bonnet. Can't easily choose...

Best moving tip...if you're not in a total frenzy, label your boxes as you go! Also, know where your crockpot is all the time. Take out gets old pretty quickly.

I love all of Ashley's yarns, and wish I could have them all! I enjoy knitting and they look so wonderful to work with! http://www.etsy.com/shop/OffTheHooks?section_id=5845263

Moving tip:
Make a kit or toolbox that will have all the tools and hardware (screws, etc.) as you are dismantling things such as bed frame, table legs, etc, and then it will be easy to find what you need when you are moving in and reassembling things. If you are having friends help at either end, make sure they know to put things into this toolbox, and that this is where to find things in the new home.

I love Mossery yarn!
As for moving, get rid of anything you don't need or love!

My favourite things are easy to pick (since I am not going to collect yarn... then we'd have issues):

Fingerless gloves! I like the cotton candy ones but I'd probably pick the custom listing and beg for some blue-green ones.

Completely offtopic: I met Val of WoolyWooloftheWest.etsy.com recently. Neat lady! Has wonderful rovings and stuff. Have you used her stuff?
