I'm so excited- Etsy has re-introduced it's "Alchemy" feature. What this means is that if you have an idea of something you want made- you can make a request on Alchemy, and have a variety of artists bid on it. They show you examples of their work, tell you how much it will cost to make and ship, and you choose the bid you like best!
This is a great way to commission artists, as most of us love doing custom orders as much as people like requesting them! (In the little jewelry making biz I used to run, people loved it when I made them custom orders).
Etsy only takes a small cut of the profit, and the rest goes directly back to the artist!!
