So, I picked up some nice wool yarn at a garage sale a while back. Some of it was half-knitted projects, so I am in the process of unravelling it. Quite a bit of it is just plain ol' white, and to me that's kind of boring. But it is 100% wool, so I thought I'd look into dyeing it! I love the idea of upcycling, repurposing, or re-using materials!

The nice thing about using food dye is its a lot less toxic than some of the other dyes out there. Though it really makes me wonder why the heck you'd want to eat or drink the stuff!
